True freedom is the idea that we, as individuals, can go wherever we want, whenever we want. Personal Air Mobility in its purest form will be achieved by aircraft meant to help one person (and sometimes one passenger) achieve that ideal.
We evaluate single/double passenger VTOL aircraft (other than racers and flying cars) marketed for private ownership as their own category, even if they may be intended for a variety of purposes. The number one factor in any assessment is SAFETY. While many concepts in this category may fall under the ultralight or experimental category, they must still demonstrate a commitment to a high standard of safety and reliability. That means fail-safe design accounting for all possible failure modes, high standards for quality of manufacture, and conformity to more than the bare minimum of applicable regulations.
After all, we want Personal Air Mobility to be available, reputable, and safe for everyone.
