Hello World!

Personal Air Mobility is now live! After years of studying, designing and building novel aircraft, I’ve finally got around to building this site. The goal is to share my knowledge and experience with the general public, in the hopes of increasing awareness of the progress of the state-of-the-art.

We’ve all imagined flying cars and hovering taxis in the form of science fiction inspired dreams. Those dreams are finally becoming a reality in the form of real aerospace projects. It is only a matter of a short amount of time (and a lot of investment) before project after project becomes certified and new aircraft fill our skies. But do those aircraft actually look anything like our dreams?

From Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang to Back to the Future, there has been a lot of variety in our fictional air mobility. And the reality is just as diverse, but more often than not, the reality rarely meets the expectation. For that reason, this site will focus on the projects most likely to succeed, and not on the concepts that look or sound the most exciting.

I want to encourage everyone that a future of personal air mobility is coming. And I hope to provide a view of what that future will really look like.
